In short, the current industrial sandblasting is mainly brown abrasives. This is mainly due to the strong adaptability of brown fused alumina to many types of sandblasting machines. However, there are also some problems in the sandblasting process.
1. The nozzle of the sandblasting machine does not emit sand: the main reason is that there are foreign objects in the nozzle, which causes the nozzle to be blocked. When using brown corundum abrasives for sandblasting, the sandblasting machine needs to be cleaned regularly, because due to the small size during sandblasting, the dust and small broken particles carried will be blocked in some gaps, which will affect the use of the sandblasting machine.
2. The impact force of the sand blasting machine is not enough: if the impact force of the sand blasting is not enough, the brown fused alumina will always have a grinding force and cannot remove rust spots well. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the pressure of the sandblasting machine itself is not enough, resulting in a decrease in the amount of sand washing. Generally speaking, the pressure of sandblasting should be greater than 0.7 MPa. In addition, the size of the nozzle has an impact on the pressure, that is, the smaller the nozzle, the greater the pressure, but the nozzle should not be too small, because too small will affect the sandblasting efficiency. In fact, in order to obtain a good sandblasting effect, the operator needs to master the sandblasting operation process and have an understanding of the sandblasting parameters.
